GOV.UK Transition: Suggested go-live checklist It can be a busy few weeks leading-up to the move of your content to GOV.UK. We’ve produced this checklist to help agency and arm’s-length-body transition leads at this crucial time. Your Transition Manager will work with you to determine the best approach to go-live. In some cases this will be launching on GOV.UK on the same day that your redirects will happen, in others it may be that your redirects happen a few days after you launch on GOV.UK. The checklist is part the guide to GOV.UK Transition and should be read in conjunction with:

Prepare: at least 2 weeks before go-live ☐ Share top messages and agree communications activity (Agency with GDS support) ☐ Staff go-live communications start ☐ Stakeholder go-live communications start ☐ Twitter go-live messages start ☐ Reactive media lines to take ready (available from your TM) ☐ Agree redirection approach (GDS and Agency) ☐ Plan and create mappings ☐ Archiving considerations ☐ Redirection checklist (GDS)

☐ Create AKA domain if necessary (Agency) ☐ Agency technical team aware of domain changes (GDS and Agency) ☐ Build agency corporate information (GDS and Agency) ☐ Agree ZenDesk process and handoffs (GDS and Agency) ☐ Provide email address for anonymous feedback (Agency) ☐ Provide email address for on page feedback (Feedex) access (Agency) ☐ Set-up analytics dashboards for Agency (GDS)
