Step 1: Understanding the Layout

...on the iPadThis is the view of Google Drive on the iPad. It has a simple interface that will allow you to connect with your students. Google Drive is being updated on a weekly basis.

“My Drive” contains all the items that you have created. All the items that you have created can be found on the right side of the screen.

“Share with me” contains all the items that have been shared with you from another screen.

Items you have marked important.

Items you have recently edited.

Allows you to work without an internet connection.

Click the + sign to:- Create a “New Document”- Create a “New Spreadsheet”- Create a “New Folder”- Upload Photos or Videos - Use the iPad Camera

Click the + sign then click “New Document”

Name your “New Document” then click “Create.”

Basic formatting palette which makes it easy for students.

THE DOCUMENT WILL AUTO-SAVE AS STUDENTS WORK

Clicking “Fonts” will allow the user to change the font type, size of the font, or font color.

Click “Done” and the “Close” to return to the home screen.

Step 4: Sharing Documents

Click the “arrow” next to the document.

Type the person’s name.

Click “Add”
