GOAL SETTNG

"If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?"

- John Wooden

SPECIFIC

Specific goals- Detail is vital. Know exactly what you are going for.

“We’re going to connect with various community members to see where our fundraiser can make the most impact.”

SPECIFIC“We’re going to connect with the food pantry’s manager to see where our  fundraiser can make the most impact.”“Seek the Music Business Organization’s and the Artists Coalition’s support to   co-sponsor our festival.”

Identify whose face is really behind that pesky word “various.”

MEASURABLE

How will you know if you have reached this goal?

Specific with names, numbers, date, appointments.

AttainableSmart goals should be challenging, yet attainable. Goals are made to help us stretch, but they should not be completely out of our reach.

Phrase it right. The more positively you phrase a goal, the more likely you are to remain committed to achieving it. Don't say: "I should," instead say: "I will.“
