1. Open the design document PART_1.top
2. Open a new document WoodCam Select a template machine, Ex; Rover_35
In « WoodCam », Check if the menu “Wood machining” is activated
Tool creation
3. Create a slot mill Diameter 16mm : Equipments, Tool, Tools management - Select the Family choice, Mill tool - Select the type choice, Slot mill and OK, - Enter the following parameters of the tool and give a name in « Internal reference », Ex :DIAM16 and “Save” .
4. Create a Flat Drill D35 : Do the same actions to create Drill tool D 35 : Family choice DRILL TOOL, Type choice: Flat Drill
5. Create a moulding tool: To create this type of tool, you need to place a part with the moulding, on the machine.

- Positioning part on the machine : Routing, Positioning, Positioning Select the stop in the list, ex : Position1 and OK - Create the moulding tool : Equipments, Tool, Tools management Family choice : Mill Tool Type choice : Special Mill and OK, Click on « Create Auto » and click on moulding edge for “reference moulding”.
The tool is created in the Database. - Delete the part on the machine : Part, Delete Check the options, « Delete also the initial stock shape and Delete also the finish shape » You need to delete the part to create the template machine
6. Loading the tools Equipments, Tool, Tool changer management
- Click on the tab TP1 ( You can visualize the spindle active on the screen ) - Right Click on the first line ( this is the tool n°1 in the tool changer ), and “New” - the database is opened, select “Mill tool “ and “Slot Mill” - Select DIAM16 in the list, « Use » and OK. - Do the same manipulations to load the tools in TP, TH and TV
7. Tools ramps Equipments, Tool, Tools ramps management You have the possibility to load the same drill tool in several vertical spindles

- Select the spindles ( make a “drag” with the mouse, or « CTRL » + Left click on “TV” ) - Right click on the selection, « New» - Choose the drill tool , « Use » and OK
Create a stop
8. Create a coordinate system Tools, Coordinate system / Duplicate Coordinate system Select the coordinate system reference ( Coordinate system on the stop « Position1 » ) Use the option « Translation », in Y- , enter the value 800 and ENTER
9. Insert the standard component « Stop_plate » Assembly, Include Standard Select, in the list, « Topsolidwoodcam », « Accessories », « Stop », « Stop_plate ». Click on the coordinate system created previously.

10. Creation Positioning Routing, Positioning, Creation Validate « Panel positioning parameters » - Select « Face Bottom» :
Face between the part and the stop in Z - Select « Face of the parallel left » :
Lateral Face of the stop parallel at the axis X - Select la « Face of the back parallel » :
Face inside of the stop parallel at the axis Y - Select the coordinate system - Give a name to the stop, Ex : Position3
- Place the Origin Program : Select Position3 in the list.
Select the position of the Origin as above and OK

16. Automatic machining Routing, Operations Analysis on a part the software calculate automatically the operations recognized such as “moulding”, “slot”, “fold”, “drilling”, “calibration”, and “pocket”. Drill feature :
Form wood milling :
To disable a cycle, ex: fold; select this one and« Space bar » (the asterisk disappears).
Press the button “Machine” to create the tool path.

Operations manager
17. Operations manager Operations, Operations manager you can modify your operation list by this function. - Delete a cycle : Right click on the cycle and « Delete » - Reorganize the operation list : Right click on the cycle to move, « Misc. operations »,« Cut », Right click on the cycle which precede this one , « Misc. operations »,« Paste after». Ex : Place « Calibration » after « Aperture » Before Modification : 1st Manipulation :

Press the button « Exit» and « Regenerate »

Click on « Machine» to calculate the tool paths
30. Modify the pocketing Operations, Edit If the tool path is visible at the screen, click on it If not, « Operations manager » , Right Click on « Pocketing spiral» and “Edit”
- Validate by OK - Do the same actions for the second pocketing If you are in the window « Operations manager », Press the button « EXIT » and
« Regenerate »
If not, Click on « Regenerate »
Change the used tool: - click on the tool name - disable “Filter” - select the slot mill D20
Change the value for “bottom and side” offset as opposite

The software suggest in the list , some solutions to execute the processes associated to the solid faces analysed - Validate the choice « left material area » by OK - Select in the list, « left material area n°1 », OK - Choose the slot mill diameter 5mm , « Used tool », OK - Validate the cycle by OK - Do the same manipulations for the second pocket
32. Function « Toplogic » to machine the top face Routing, Topologic - Pick face to machine
- Validate the choice « Facing » by OK - Choose the slot mill diameter 20mm , « Used tool », OK Enter the parameters with the following values : - Bottom stock to leave : 0mm - Islands ( stock to leave on side ) : 0mm - Machining method : Spiral To finish, Click on OK

Grooving of the circular slot Milling, Contouring, Grooving - Activate the option « Duplication » ( this option is used to take the parameters and the used tool from an existing tool path ) - Pick original tool path - Pick curve to groove: the circle - Validate the first pass direction by OK or Reverse it - Enter –5 mm in « Reference altitude » and key « RETURN » - Validate the cycle parameters by OK

• Directory : Choose the directory where the PP is installed ( generally , it is Hard disk:\Missler\PP )
• Name : Select the PP in the combo
• Directory: this is the directory for Iso program
