ntAre there enough services to meet the needs of new residents?

Questionnaire An area of Commercial Road was chosen (see map 3) within the CBD. We randomly approached people to answer the questionnaire. We asked 50 people

• Important to identify which services residents value and access most often.• This data will be combined with the Services Map (Map 3) to evaluate whether there are enough services

• Sample is quite small considering the total footfall in Commercial Road. Will have to be corroborated by secondary data.• The total amount of people in Commercial Road seemed low.• There was only a 50% success rate in asking the questionnaire

• A larger sample would allow better conclusions to be made.•Collect data on different days of the week to give a clearer picture.• Cut down the number and complexity of questions to improve the success rate.

Include Technology, secondary

data

Include your sampling strategy

Why do you need this data in order to answer

your key question?

These two sections allow you to gain analysis marks so are

very important.

• Look for examples of:

- explanation of method - critical evaluation - suggestion for improvement - planning own fieldwork
