I have worked in all hierarchical educational fields for many years
in a total of 7 different countries , so far.
They include: The UK and Canada. Various Middle Eastern countries:
Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey and Malaysia.
More recently, I am expanding my experience to include Asia and the
far east, Insha- Allah.

4. THE COURSE ETHOS AND PHILOSOPHY:
The main objective: To improve SPOKEN ENGLISH.
FOR THIS REASON. DURING ALL LECTURES AND SEMINARS. It is expected
of you NOT to speak in Arabic to the Tutor or other Students in
anything other than the English language. Note taking is a
compulsory condition of the course. All notes should be written in
English only!
* ALL YOUR WRITTEN LECTURE NOTES SHOULD BE BROUGHT WITH YOU TO THE
FOLLOWING SEMINAR FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES.

6. Further Notes: The Course Policy
The copy should be acknowledged by a signed receipt of the course
policies, in agreement by the student and each student will then be
given a receipt, signed by the course Tutor to acknowledge receipt
of their payment. Once this whole procedure has taken place. The
Student is totally financially and academically committed to this
total course of study, until it is fully completed.
7. Student Study: Attitude!
All students are EXPECTED to be here because they wish to improve
their language skills, particularly conversation. For this purpose,
they are asked to have a good attitude towards the course and all
related study.
8. Course Fees:
A SPECIAL DISCOUNT WILL BE OFFERED TO THOSE STUDENTS WHO DO CHOOSE
TO PAY THEIR FEES IN ADVANCE:
THIS WILL CONSTITUTE QUITE A SAVING!FOR THOSE OF YOU, NOT YET IN
FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OR STILL AT YOUR PERIOD OF STUDY. E.G. AT
COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY.
FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED:
9. Non Refundable Policy: Sub Clauses
1a) Fees paid by students will not be refunded for any of the
following reasons.
2b) A student failure of attendance, for whatever reason.
3c) A student change of direction and preference of an 'alternative
choice' of study. I.e. another different course or subject.
4d) Lack of transportation facilities. E.g. car problems or
failure.
Terminal illnesses or sudden attacks of bad health.
10. The Course Timetable
Both the Lectures and the Seminars are to be held once weekly. This
means you will attend one Lecture per week and one Seminar.
Each Lecture and each Seminar is expected to last for at least an
approximation of: One hour, depending on related materials, verbal
communications and unforeseen circumstances.
Students signing up for the course are expected to be
punctual
(Not to arrive late) and to come fully prepared and equipped for
each lesson.
11. Student Membership; Regulations
Verbal abuse and disrespect will not be tolerated and will result
in immediate termination of the course. PLEASE NOTE: Termination of
an abusive student will mean A NO MONETARY REFUND POLICY. Therefore
any student who is asked to leave, for the above, stated reasons,
will not receive any return of their previously paid course
fees.

NON ALCHOHOLIC DRINKS are allowed, but these are not provided and
must be purchased outside the premises, before the course.
This is a serious course of study and it is hoped that all students
entering the premises will receive a valuable learning experience.
All students will be encouraged to use as much verbal participation
as possible.
13. The Quietness and Repect Rule
There is a general 'quietness and respect' rule to be applied
during all Lectures. This is to ensure that your Lecturer can give
you the benefit of their experience and you can make notes for
future reference and seminars.
You, as the student will be encouraged as much as possible to
make
Intelligent conversation during all Seminars. The general idea
being, to generate and promote a sound and interesting discussion
group. Please join in and give opinions etc.
