MAIN PRINCIPLES
A centralised exchange platform for NFs and OCs
A simple and efficient tool
Not an invitation system
FEI Sports Forum, 28-29 April 2014, IMD Lausanne 6
Previous core processes and issues
• No checking of registrations!
• No checking of qualifications!
• No consistency between the format of entries!
• Possibility of errors on the master/starting lists!
• Often results received from OCs and NFs are incomplete!
• The process of publishing rankings/standings is complicated/delayed!
• In some cases FEI rules not respected!

Benefits of the FEI Entry System
For the Organising Committees:
• Simplification: entries from NFs are received from a single source• Productivity: OCs manage entries online. Master lists are downloadable
with FEI IDs + Athlete and Horse details. There is no more need to type in any data with the risk of errors. Improves results quality.
For the National Federations:
• Simplification: centralised source for entries• Productivity: the check of registration and qualification is automatic. Entries
can also be uploaded or linked automatically by Web Services.• Traceability: there is a log for each action made• In addition, NFs can retrieve all competition results on the FEI Database.
For the FEI:
• Improvement of all the core processes related to entries as well as registrations, results and rankings.
