Designing Cards, Invitations and Signs

• Designing birthday (and other special occasion) cards, invitations, and signs which feature the birthday honoree in a photo with a birthday theme is a year long project.

• The opportunity to photograph the honoree: – in appropriate setting

– displaying just the right pose, and facial expressions

– with the right lighting conditions

– without needing to explain the purpose of the photo

only occurs a few times a year.

• Examples of cards, invitations and signs for birthday honorees and their parents in which the honoree is wearing (and/or blindfolded with) a happy birthday bandana and/or holding a happy birthday bear are included in this presentation.

• The presentation also includes sample signs for both birthday honorees and their parents without photos.
