1) Development of appropriate communication strategies for joint learning within and between countries
Main mechanisms:• Annual review and planning workshops including field
visits and bringing together the key stakeholders from both sites
• Frequent exchange on activities and progress through modern communication channels (email, Skype, phone)
• Partner meetings for field visits and report writing• Joint training courses
Further mechanisms:• Participation at national and international conferences• Publications

2) Identification and participation in training modules for innovation systems (with DFID project)
• 2009 Drs Khanh, Mui, Dzung and Anh participated at Writing Workshop for journal publications in Nha Trang, Vietnam
• In 2008 Drs Khanh and Anh attended training course on fodder innovation in Ethiopia
• In 2008 Drs Mui, Dzung, Anh and Ms Hien participated at a Rapid Market Appraisal course in Ethiopia
