Energy Disclosure

Green certificates from point to point

What is GPX Four key elements

A patent on the signature on electricity

A system for consumption of digital “Guarantees Of Origin” (GOO) of electricity production with an extended meter system

A display of the origin in a comfortable way

Accredited, trusted applications using secured ICT

GPX system Four consumer elements

Always the kind of energy you wish For a price or simplicity-level decided by

yourself Monitoring energy consumption Realizing savings without further looking

GPX essential device Three key elements

The GPX device for the consumption side has three basic functionalities.

The elementary device will:

Measure energy Switch Communicate

What is a certificate of origin

An electronic message (XML) in three parts: Header Transfer file body Acknowledgement file body

The transfer file body contains:

1. Certificate system

2. Identifications

3. Technology code

4. Data (amount, time, capacity & earmarks)

Present route of electricity and data

Grid with general mixture. Administrative (paper) green supply.

GPX route of electricity and data

Electricity grid with general mix. The delivered electricity is anonymous.

Presented is an example of a route for a digital green energy certificate.

1: production 2: transition 3: consumption

Consuming device is presented as a plug-and-play module.

Example of plug-and-play module

For the common European plug system, a unit with a smartcard shows the consumed amount of specific energy from this windmill, or that solarpanel.

Added value four topics

1. Bridge-function at digital level2. Channel for new markets with linked

services (telecom, data, energy, convenience, enjoyment, charity)

3. Secure technique as foundation for new generation wireless applications to handle micro metering on an accredited base (pay-on-delivery character).

4. Multiple feedback for consumers, sub meter system for prioritizing consumption budget.

Channel example Carrier Pre Select

Red arrow: incoming energy (general grid mixture)

Example metersystem

1: main meter with hybrid function

2: submeter with outlet

Example for delivery of “free” wind-energy

Example display

This example uses the standard pulse output of the main meter

Normal modern energy meters have a neutral pulse output to make a connection to monitoring applications and devices to display the use of energy.

Example of a local supply system

Present Consumption 3 elements

1. Green Energy (gas/electricity): Not Tangible

2. Products: limited choice

3. Little price-advantage because of little choice

GPX offers advantage 3 elements

1. New step in International Harmonization

2. Gold Standard

3. Understandable

Stakeholders 5 groups

Energy Company Large-scale consumer Naughty consumers: “I decide myself what I

get from where” Proper consumer: “I want to stay with my

current supplier, I just want more choice and tangibility”

Charity, noble cause, and third world development

Let’s start!

Green energy made tangible Combined with Monitoring and saving energy

GPX offers advantages for: Business partnerships, consumers Stakeholders
