Scammers create and send mock emails that appear to come from legitimate companies to attempt to lure people into clicking bad links or downloading malware. Here is a look at an actual scam email that appears to come from EZ-Pass. The "invoice" link in this is actually a virus. While nothing may seem to happen after downloading it, the virus scans the computer for personal and banking information.
