parts, and temperatures regularly reach 40°C. However, this is an excellent time to be in the mountains, where it

is sunny and cool. This is also the peak season on the Black Sea. Winter can be grim everywhere, although

thanks to the buffer of the Caucasus Mountains which protects the country from the icy northern winds,

Georgia rarely freezes. There is a surprising amount of rain year-round.

Cities of Georgia

Tbilisi – Capital of Georgia

Located on the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Oriental and European architectural styles can be observed in Tbilisi. Tbilisi has famous sulfur

bathes, recreational areas, museums, restaurants, cafes, clubs and nightlife

Night Life in Tbilisi

In Tbilisi you can find bars and clubs for people with completely different lifestyle. The main area for touristic and upper-class bars and clubs is the

pedestrian area of Chardeni Street and Erekle II street in the Old Town, along the bank of the river. Another place for upper class locals is Perovskaya,

across from the McDonald's on Rustaveli. Off Rustaveli, up and down it in Mtatsminda, Sololaki and below Rustaveli are a growing amount of "art bars", more for Bohemians, travellers and expats.

Kazbegi

This is most people’s destination on the Georgian Military Highway: a valley town with

the famous hilltop silhouette of Tsmunda Sameba Church and the towering snowy cone

of Mt Kazbek looking down from the west. Now officially named Stepantsminda, but still commonly known as Kazbegi, it's a base for

some wonderful walking and mountain-biking.

Gergeti trinity Church

The orthodox Christian church is located on around 2,100 meters above sea level. It is

proudly looking at small city of Stepantsminda since 14th century. You can hike up to the

complex in about two hours, hire a driver, or even rent a horse!

Mtskheta

Old capital of Georgia and part of the UNESCO World Heritage list Region of Kakheti – is the

main wine producing Province of Georgia. Kakheti is also rich in wine factories.

Signaghi – Town of Love

Here one can enjoy degustation of Georgian wine, enjoy panoramic view on the valley

Alazani (about 60% of grapes grow here) and, if you are lucky, you will see Georgian

weddings: Signangi is the only place in Georgia where couple can get married any time of the day and year. This is why Signagi is called: The

town of Love.

Batumi

Batumi—the “Pearl of the Black Sea,” as it is often called—is located in the autonomous

republic of Adjara. European architects undertook numerous projects in Batumi at the

beginning of the 20th century, and today it remains a hub of architectural innovation.

difference in altitude, and unlimited possibilities for free-ride and back country (ski

touring). Besides skiing and snowboarding enjoy spa treatment, take a steam bath, play

Tbilisi. It gives you an incredible chance to relax and pamper yourself, Here, each season

is distinctively unique, ideal for relaxation, family reunions, weddings, business meetings, retreats, corporate, entertainment and sports

events.

Cuisine & Wine

Georgia is said to be the birthplace of wine. Due to the many millennia of wine in Georgian

history, and its key economical role, the traditions of its viticulture are entwined and

inseparable with the country's national identity. The Georgian wine industry is recognized as a

hot new “green agribusiness industry” categorized as “Agritourism and Agritainment."

Georgians have managed to make their cuisine not only magically delicious but also bright,

original, exquisite, unique and unforgettable. The Georgian cuisine is unique to the country,

but also carries some influences from other European and nearby Middle Eastern

culinary traditions.
