DEVI AHILYA UNIVERSITY, INDORE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) – Online Counselling Information 2012-13
Steps to participation in CET online Counselling: Open URL https://www.mponline.gov.in with Internet Explorer 7+ version.
Do not use other than Internet Explorer browser for Online Counselling application. Click on ‘Citizen Services’ button on the MPOnline portal home page.
Select ‘CET Online Counselling’ button or ‘DAVV’ button.
Click the link ‘Apply for Registration’, enter your CET application number, fill necessary data, submit &
pay the portal fee, you will get a transaction Id, barcode, payment status & date. If the application is unpaid
then pay from ‘Pay unpaid/Receipt Registration’ link.
When you paid the Registration process, click on ‘Apply for Choice Filling’ link - here you have to enter
your CET application number, date of birth & Transaction Id of Registration process.
If you forgot or do not have Registration Transaction Id, get your transaction Id after payment from ‘Pay
unpaid/Receipt Registration’ link.
On the basis of Choice Filling request, student will get their ‘Allotment Letter’ application after allotment
between announced dates schedule by searching CET application number, date of birth & Transaction Id of
Choice Filling.
If you forgot or do not have Choice Filling Transaction Id, get your transaction Id after payment from ‘Pay
unpaid/Receipt Choice Filling’ link.
On the basis of Allotment Letter, student will go to their Department which will mention in letter for
‘Document Verifications’. Candidate must carry their original documents for verification otherwise his
admission will be cancel.
If, all the documents are verified of the candidate then department will issue a ‘Provisional Admission
Slip’, in which fee will be mentioned.
When the department will provide a ‘Provisional Admission Slip’, student must deposit their fees from
anywhere in time schedule which will announce by the DAVV.
(These three of the applications “Registration process, Choice filling & Fees Submission” are valid after
payment, in which application no., transaction Id, barcode, and payment date, otherwise form will be
rejected).
A. Common Merit Lists:
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore shall prepare and notify merit lists Group wise on the basis of
marks obtained in CET 2012. DAVV, Indore will also provide group wise merit list of Unreserved
Candidates as well as common merit lists of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward
Classes (Excluding Creamy Layer) candidates belonging to M.P.
Admission shall be done by MPOnline (https://www.mponline.gov.in ) through online Counselling on
the basis of merit lists provided by DAVV, Indore.
In case of Tie (more than one student on the same rank) in the admission on any rank, admission will be
given as under:
o Higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations will be considered;
o In case where result of qualifying examination is not declared, seniority in age will be considered.
B. General Information of Counselling:
Admission in all the courses of DAVV, Indore against open seats, J&K Resident/ Migrant Seats shall be
done through Counselling on the basis of separate merit lists provided by the DAVV of CET- 2012
respectively.
Admission shall be done through Counselling on the basis of the ranking list declared by DAVV. The
programme of Counselling shall be available on website of DAVV, Indore www.dauniv.ac.in. No
separate call letters shall be sent to the candidates.
The sequence of admission shall be as under:
o Admission on NRI seats shall be done by the Organizing Committee through Centralised
Counselling separately before online counselling. The date and will be notified on DAVV, website
separately. These seats shall be filled as per the procedure and schedule notified and any remaining
vacant seats shall be filled by online counselling after merging them general seats.
o In the counselling first candidates of reserved categories shall be called in the following order, so
that vacant reserved seats can be mutually converted:- Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled tribes/Scheduled Castes.
o After conducting counselling of reserved category candidates, as per above order, vacant seats, if
any, shall be merged into the unreserved seats and then counselling for unreserved seats shall be
conducted.
o Candidates of reserved category who find place in the merit list of unreserved category will also be
considered in the allotment of seats under unreserved category. They will be given seat of their
preference from reserved or unreserved category in which they are getting better choice. Such
candidates of reserved category who are allotted seats from unreserved category shall be counted in
the unreserved category.
o If the seats remain vacant after the first round of counselling held on the basis of merit of common
entrance test then the decision regarding holding of second round of counselling shall be taken by
the organizing committee keeping in view the number of vacant seats for a particular course and
approximate number of candidates willing for admission.
o If, after aforesaid round of counselling seats still remains vacant, the SOS will make effort to fill the
seats at their level. For SOS level counselling, HOD shall provide the information regarding dates,
vacancies on its website.
C. Online Registration:
Candidate can fill online Registration form by searching the CET application number & date of birth.
They can update their registration detail until portal fee has not paid.
Candidates from all the categories want to participate in the counselling of DAVV CET 2012 courses
must register themselves on https://www.mponline.gov.in by paying portal Rs. 100/- for Registration.
A candidate can participate in counselling from authorised kiosks of MPOnline within Madhya Pradesh
or anywhere by paying any Bank Credit Card or Debit (Master/Visa Card)/ or Net Banking. International
Credit Card has not been accepted as per the RBI guidelines.
A candidate has to register him / her through website https://www.mponline.gov.in by providing their
actual data.
D. Online Choice Filling:
Candidate can fill Choice (groups/deptt.) by searching the CET application number, date of birth &
transaction Id of paid registration form. They can edit their choice until portal fee has not paid.
A candidate can fill the preference of group separately, course and institute. If a candidate has appeared
in more than one group of CET 2012 entrance test can prefer more than one group, course and institute
by paying online portal fee Rs. 100/- for all groups.
A candidate, when fill all the groups choice then they can pay portal. After that the choice will be
locked.
E. Online Allotment:
On the basis of the merit in CET 2012 and preference of course by the candidate seats will be allotted. If
a candidate is satisfied with the allotment he /she can get a print out and proceed for the document
verification in respective concern School of Study.
Get allotment letter from anywhere by searching the CET application number, date of birth & transaction
Id of choice filling.
A candidate can fill their choice filling by the upgradation basis. No second level counselling will be
organise.
F. Document Verification and Admission in Allotted School of Study by the concern
Department:
A candidate will be reporting at the time of document verification with the following document to the
concern School of Study:
o Photographs 3 Nos.
o CET Result downloaded from website Original
o Allotment of seat through online counselling
o Mark Sheet of Qualifying examination Original +1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
o Proof of Age Original +1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
o Transfer Certificate Original +1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
o Migration Certificate Original +1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
o Cast Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate. Original (For Verification) + 1
Photocopy (Self Attested)
o Income Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate. Original +1 Photocopy
(Self Attested)
o J.K. Migrant / J.K. Resident Certificate Original (For Verification) + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
o M.P. Domicile Certificate Original (For Verification) + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
o Affidavits for Gap in studies (if applicable) Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
A candidate will be reporting to allotted School of Study (SOS) within given time period.
The School of Studies authorised official will be verifying the documents. Verification of documents
will be on the basis of fulfilling the eligibility of candidate to the allotted course.
After reporting admission slip (in 2 copies) will be printed in two copies of which one will be given to
the candidate after signature of the authorised official.
After seeking the admission slip a candidate will submit the required fees.
In case a candidate is not reporting within given time will be considered as absent.
The seats of non-eligible and non-reporting candidates will be considered as vacant and will be
incorporated in next level counselling.
G. Admission Letter & Fee Submission:
A candidate can get or download their admission letter after the document verification after that they will
deposit their fees.
A candidate who have finally admitted in the respective UTDs then they deposit their Admission fee
online by searching CET application number or enrolment no.
