“It is estimated that between five and seven million cats and dogs enter animal shelters every year in the United States, but only about half of them make it out alive.”▫ ASPCA

Animal Shelters

•Take in lost or surrendered pets•Give basic care to animal•Lack of resources renders the action of putting an animal down, which is unacceptable

Animal Hoarder

• Keeps a large amount of animals

• Can’t provide basic care to the animals

• Doesn’t realize a problem even exists

• This hoarding behavior is often repeated

Animal Hoarding

Animal Hoarders fail to provide:

-Basic needs

-Attention

-Information

-Resources

Animal Shelters

Animal shelters and Overpopulation:

-Not enough Resources:Food, water, toys, and proper medical care.

- Lack of Employees.

-Lack of Space.

Top Dog:The Crew’s Plan of Action: We’ve devised a plan that places people into the perspective of an animal. Plans to start out locally, becomes something Big.

How we plan to get there:•Contacting an Animal Adoption Center•Sponsors•Being part of Hutto Olde Tyme Days

Objective Of Top Dog:

To Listen, Feel, and Act like a dog!

Listen & Feel:Simon Says: A fun game for the kids, play a few commands such as role over and sit!!

Caged: Sit in a cage for a certain amount of time, while performing simple everyday tasks.

Act:On the Leash: Wear a leash and collar, while participating in a race.

Catch that Frisbee: Catch a Frisbee in your mouth.

Eat and Drink like a Dog:The name explains it all.

Our ImpactWe hope to achieve the following:

• Raise awareness on Animal Hoarding and Overpopulation in Shelters

• Provide Financial Aid to Shelters in need

• Provide attention and care to animals

• Gives an opportunity for animals to be adopted
