Free People Employment Center (FPEC) is a public initiative designed topromote employment and social rehabilitation for Ukrainian people who losttheir jobs and need assistance because of political repression, militaryoperations, and difficult economic situation.

FREE PEOPLE EMPLOYMENT CENTER

Our task is to help those who lost their jobs and access to a normal livelihood

because of taking part in the protests. Those who were forced to leave theirs homes due to the recent events in Crimea and south-eastern regions of Ukraine.

Our goal is to create a model of a new social institution that will effectively deal with problems of

employment in this country by setting the standards and the right way of treatment in other similar state establishments.

- visits to the places of compact settlement

- close cooperation with employers, professional associations and other organizations helping IDPs

1. Employment Roadmap for IDPs - a handbook with useful information and contacts for

internally displayed persons, developed by Ministry of Social Poliocy, UNDP and FPEC.

5. “Resource Center for IDPs”Resource Center for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) is a joint project of Civic Initiatives, dealing with IDPs, and the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in cooperation with United Nations Development Program.

The idea of “single window”- common Hotline - common humanitarian storage- monitoring visits to the places of compact settlement etc.

6. Professional Training and Development program for IDPsOne month of professional training in 3 directions: “Entrepreneurship”, “Sales”,

“Restaurant business” starting from 18 October.

7. Employment and social rehabilitation of IDPsSupporting employment and social rehabilitation of internally displaced persons from Crimea and eastern Ukraine.

Project duration – 4 months.

Project budget – over 300 000 UAH
