Parents Evening

It is Parents Evening next week. Please ensure

that you have booked a Zoom consultation time

with your child’s class teacher.

Curriculum News:

English:

In English this week the children have enjoyed

creating a character and planning a story in

the style of a ‘Just so Story’. We have shared

many of the stories by Rudyard Kipling to use

as a model for our own writing and have

thought carefully about how we can describe

different settings.

Maths:

The children have enjoyed identifying coins

and working with money this week. Please ask

your child to help you with change and money

the next time you are putting the groceries

away. You could also find some change, make

a shop and create your own problems to

solve. Below are some great links you can use

Science:

Science this week involved a fun investigation

into sound and how it is made. The children

got hands on with balloons, drums, boom SPELLINGS:

Christmas! Please help your child learn this

Christmas carol at home; we are unable to teach whole class singing at the moment and are planning a little
