Creating a project from a shapefile you add:

Start on the Map Tab:

Add Resource button and select zipped shapefile to upload

Once it is visible and you can see it in the TOC as Added Resources, click Create Project to bring up dialog

Select the button in the middle of the dialog box that looks like a page with a gear.

In the Additional Mapping Option dialog box, the source should default to Map Layers and your

uploaded layer:

Click Select from Resource. Click and drag a box on your shape(s) of choice. Then close the dialog box

saying what you selected. This should result in the following:

This shows one feature was selected. Click Next

Click Accept. This will bring up the create project dialog box and select the type of project and continue

to enter information. When done, it will tell you your project has been submitted.
