Our theme: My Community 我的社区During Connect with China we will:

• Explore the concept of ‘think global, act local’ - what’s the value of this?

• Explore different aspects of our communities and compare/contrast with China.

• Design ways to positively contribute to our local communities

• Guiding questions:

• How am I connected to my community?

• What is my relationship with my environment?

• How does my daily life and consumption patterns affect my environment and how does this affect me?

Emmerson: I enjoyed this session because we got to link up with kids the same age as us and they lived in a different country. I think this is a good way to learn about China because we get to learn new facts about the country from people that live in china.
