"City Light": Small Business Energy Audit and Energy Efficiency Implementation Program

Purpose: Provide energy audit and energy efficiency implementation services for small business within its jurisdiction.

Goal: Assist small business owners by increasing the energy efficiency of their businesses and reducing their utility bills.

Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

Clauses – DBA, Buy American, Non-Discrimination and EO, and Job Creation

Audit/Reporting Requirements – DBA, Certified Payroll, Energy Savings, Job Creation, Funds Expenditures

• Energy Savings: roughly 2.0 MW of permanent electric demand reduction and 7,000,000 annual kWh of energy savings

• GHG CO2 Reduction: 4,000 metric tons of CO2e annually

• Green Jobs Creation: 11-22 Jobs
