All lab workers, visitors, and students must wear eye protection at all times while inthe lab when there is the potential of splash or flying object.

❖ Contact lenses are not allowed in the lab.

Acid and organic chemical vapors could get in between eye and lenses. Thus, lensescan be glued on the eye in the case of an accident and can be difficult to remove.

Eye and Face Protection✓Safety glasses – flying particles, chemical splashes, dust

✓Splash goggles – corrosive liquids, solvents, powders

✓Face Shields – protect the entire face against exposure to chemical hazards.
