How to save water

• To save water you have to turn taps off

when you are finished using the taps.

• Don’t have water fights and also don’t

waste it.

• Don’t clean things you don’t need to.

Save our water

• When you use water, use it wisely or

eventually we will run out of water and the

animals will die slowly.

• Use low flow water supply in your home

and in your school.

Our Action Plan

Our plan is to save WATER!

Action 1

Talk to the principal and

teachers about what

we have done and

what we would like to

achieve in our school.

Action 2

To talk on parade about

what we need to do to

help to raise money to

make our school be a

water wise school.

Action 3

Have a weekly graph on

the water meter.

Grade six class to do

it.

Action 4

Fundraisers : poster

competition, 50c swim, guess the mills, walkathon

ect.

Action 5

Stickers and posters

around the school

and above TAPS!

Action 6

Get plumbers to put

Duel Flush on the rest

of the toilets,

aerators, key taps on

oval (cheap fittings)

Action 7

Get the plumber to get

the shower taps

separate from each

other.

Action 8

A water play will provide

a picture to little kids

to save water around

the house.

Action 9

Get a person in our

group to go round

and make sure no

water is not getting

wasted and that

person is (Kody).

A person dressed up in

a raindrop outfit giving

out stickers to the

little kids.-(Dion)

Action 11

Get the gardener to get

some plants-(native)

and some drought

tolerant trees.

Action 12

Get the principal to talk

to the teachers and

get them to teach the

students about how

preserve water.

Action 13

Invite a NKI teacher to see what we have

achieved and to talk to the students about water.
