Prime minister of Italy.He originally believed in communism, but his political view soon shifted from socialism to Fascism.

Italian Fascism= Nationalism, Totalitarianism, Single

Party State, Social Darwinism, Militarism, Mixed Economy, Class Collaboration, Corporatism, etc.

Mussolini’s Italian fascists were primarily anti-democratic, anti-Semitic, and anti-Marxist

They fascists also abided by the ideals of Corporatism

Corporatism was the organizing of all aspects of society into social, economic, and political categories

Fascists used this to help the economy thrive

ITALIAN FASCIST VIEW OF WOMEN Fascist government limited the number of women

employees (e.g. working in factories) They believed women should stay home and bear

children Result: Women were working as domestic servants

BLACK SHIRTS

The Italian Fascists were known as “The Black Shirts”

ITALIANS PEACE AT LAST

In 1929 the Roman Catholic Church and the Italian state made peace

Lateran Accords of February 1929 was signed

Wanted the fascist government to have a mixture of socialism and the laissez-faire system

Mussolini in 1938 replaces the Chamber of Deputies with the Chamber of Corporations

This new corporation was suppose to increase productions.
