Building Promethean Communities21 schools involved in the Interact Project
located in the geographic area of the Centro de Formação de Entre Paiva e Caima, northeast of Aveiro district
All the schools are situated in an disadvantaged region, far from the big centres (Oporto and Lisbon), and majorly inserted in rural and industrial environments. Almost all schools are connected to the Internet (Broadband). In general there is some student school abandonment and school failure. Teachers are willing to embrace new projects that motivate pupils, especially with the aid of ICT.

INTERACTION
Constructivism | ConnectivismConnectivism presents a model of learning that acknowledges the tectonic shifts in society where learning is no longer an internal, individualistic activity. How people work and function is altered when new tools are utilized. The field of education has been slow to recognize both the impact of new learning tools and the environmental changes in what it means to learn.
Connectivism provides insight into learning skills and tasks needed for learners to flourish in a digital era.
