SUMMER CAMP 2012

The summer project called Green

Concience arises from our corcern for

the future development of the youth of

Venezuela. It has been found that the

ecology helps to children to have more

conscience for their future

mission

The mission of this project is to

provide tools and skills in

occupational settings, highlighting the strength of education as a

change agent, helping to transform

the reality that can wait for them to

leave this organization where they

are and give them a vision of for

future progress in education and

employment

SPECIFICS

• Providing the opportunity to live a vacation

and multicultural experience to children and

young people of Colmena de la Vida and

surrounding communities. At the same time,

provide recreational instruments for the

proper use of leisure time

• To give an opportunity to AIESEC’s

members to know about the reality of

homeless children in Venezuela

objectives GENERAL

To provide educational training for the

integral development of personality of

children and young people of Colmena de

la Vida, to help them inserted productively in

society

COLMENA de la

VIDA Colmena de la Vida is a social program

of Asociación Civil Unamos al Mundo

por la Vida. Its most important goal is to

bring a LIFE PROJECT to those children

and young people that are in risk

situation.

Street: Is the work done with children

and adolescents ranging from the

street to the family and social

integration based on an educational

plan allowing the project life of the child and the return of their rights.

Open House: This is a transitional place specially

designed and equipped to stimulate children and

young people’s interested in exploring their own potential and capacities.

Organization The

Shelter House: An entity that

provides shelter and comprehensive

care for children and adolescents in

an risk situation, ensuring the rights

enshrined in the Organic Law of

Protection on Children and Adolescents (LOPNA).

Proposed

Activities

• Formulation on creative and interactive

seminars to discuss global issues such as:

The right of children

Violence

Importance of Education

Environment. Global warming. Water crisis

Importance of the 3 Rs (Reduce, Re-use,

Recycle)

• To teach a language based on the

intern’s native language.

•Planning moments for cultural awareness

through the introduction of life at home to

children and young people.
