BlogVS

A website, also written as web site, is a collection ofrelated web pages, including multimedia content, typically identified with a common domain name, andpublished on at least one web server. A web site maybe accessible via a public Internet Protocol (IP)network, such as the Internet, or a private local areanetwork (LAN), by referencing a uniform resourcelocator (URL) that identifies the site. All publiclyaccessible websites collectively constitute the WorldWide Web, while private websites are typically a part ofan intranet.

Website

A blog is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide

Web consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse

chronological order (the most recent post appears first). Until2009, blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single

subject.More recently, "multi-author blogs" (MABs) have developed,

with postswritten by large numbers of authors and professionally

edited. MABsfrom newspapers, other media outlets, universities, think

tanks, advocacygroups, and similar institutions account for an increasing

quantity of blogtraffic. The rise of Twitter and other "microblogging" systems

helpsintegrate MABs and single-author blogs into societal

newstreams. Blogcan also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add

content to a blog.
