• SHE WAS BORN ON BROADWAY. Created by MaxFleischer, Betty Boop quickly became a legend, the first animated femme fatale, the "Queen of Cartoons."

• Since her 1930 debut at the New York City-based Fleischer Studios, Betty Boop has starred in more than 100 Fleischer cartoons, two syndicated comic strips and two animated musical television specials for CBS. She was saluted in a prime-time, star-studded tribute on American Movie Classics and was the first cartoon character to be featured in A&E's award-winning "Biography" series.
