Betsy Moss is a fashion house that consist of two labels, Betsy Moss Ready to Wear and Betsy Moss Maternity. It was founded by President and Head Designer Jorge Perez.

Hailing from Venezuela and inspired by renowned designer Carolina Herrera, Jorge was always moved by the elegance of women. He has always desired to express his creativity through fashion. Being exposed to both Latin as well as American fashion, he has been able to incorporate both cultural styles in his designs. Upon his arrival in the United States he quickly delved into the fashion world and was able to apprentice as both a junior designer as well as assist to the head designer for an established fashion house. This opportunity allowed him to grow in his understanding of materials, fashion, quality and fit.

The tropical climate of Miami inspired Jorge’s first collection of resort wear. Together with his team, sister and assistant designer Betsy Perez as well as creative director Josue Rafuls, Jorge continued experimenting and creating.

Buoyed by its success, Betsy Moss now carries a must-see maternity line which strikes an exquisite balance between form and function. Perez believes there are no limits as to what they can accomplish. “We take pride in dressing women in beautiful garments, but we don’t plan to stop at women’s wear. Our plans for Betsy Moss will include accessories, fragrance and home goods. We want to cater to all aspects of design and glamour and are very excited to imbue the Betsy Moss style into women’s closets as well as their homes.”--stated Perez.
