3.4) After the download has completed, drag the file from the browser download window into the Import Equipment dialog

3.5) If the Equipment import was successful, you will see a message indicating how many rows were imported successfully. Click on the “OK” button and the “CLOSE” button on the Import Equipment dialog.

3.6) Navigate back to the “Equipment Efficiency Model” Page by clicking on the “Equipment Efficiency Model” breadcrumb

3.7) Perform the following steps to import Equipment States…

From the Equipment Efficiency Model Page, click on the “Equipment States” card.

Click on the “Import” icon. Click on the “Download Sample File” button.

Drag the file from the browser download window into the Import Equipment States dialog.

Click on the “CLOSE” button on the Import Equipment States dialog.

Click on the “Equipment Efficiency Model” breadcrumb to navigate back to the Equipment Efficiency Model Page.

3.8) Perform the following steps to import Utilization Reason Groups…

From the Equipment Efficiency Model Page, click on the

“Utilization Reasons” card.

Click on the “Import” icon.

Click on the “Download Sample File” button.

Drag the file from the browser download window into the Import Utilization Reason Groups dialog.

Click on the “CLOSE” button on the Import Equipment Utilization Reason

Groups dialog.

Click on the “Utilization Reason Groups” card.

3.9) Perform the following steps to import Generic Utilization Reasons…

From the Equipment Efficiency Model Page, click on the

“Utilization Reasons” card.

Click on the “Import” icon.

Click on the “Download Sample File” button.

Drag the file from the browser download window into the Import Generic Utilization Reasons dialog.

2.3) The Add Event dialog will be displayed. Click on the “Running” reason group chip

2.4) Click on the “Speed Loss” reason chip and press the “Add” button

3.1) From Insight Equipment Efficiency Page, wait for about (30) to (45) seconds and then click on “Last 30 Minutes” radio button on the time selection card at bottom of page

3.2) On Utilization Event tab, click on the event that you just created on the utilization Gannt chart and click on the Edit Event icon

3.3) Click on the “Not Occupied” reason group chip; then click on “No Demand” reason chip; then click on “SAVE” button

3.4) Click on the event that you just edited on the utilization Gannt chart. It should show the utilization reason has now been changed to “No Demand”.

1.3) Palletizer 1 is now in a running state. Now, click on “Start Production Run” icon at top of page.

1.4) The “Start a Production Run” dialog will be displayed. Enter the following information:• Planned Quantity = 180• Planned Duration – Hours = 1

As part of creating the “Efficiency Model”, Insight automatically creates a set of historian tags for each piece of equipment that will be used to historizehourly equipment efficiency KPI values/calculations (refer to chart on right for details).

4.3) The Utilization Details Page will be displayed. The SUMMARY tab provides some information around Top 5 Downtime Reasons by Count & Duration for the selected time period. Click on the DETAILS tab to access more detailed utilization data/events.

4.4) The grid on the DETAILS tab allows data to be FILTERED, GROUPED and SORTED. Drag and drop the “Shift Name” column above the grid as shown by the illustration to the right.

The utilization events are now grouped by “Shift Name” for the selected time period. Try grouping utilization events with other columns in the grid.

4.5) Click on “Back Arrow” to return to OEE Analysis – Summary Page from Utilization Details Page 4.5
