• This week, we are going to create our own superheroes and create an exciting

story based on one of their adventures.

• Will you focus on their origin story?

• A mission with the Avengers?

MONDAY, 22ND JUNE

• Today, we are going to continue practising our descriptive writing before we

begin to bring our own superheroes to life.

• We are going to look a picture and write a short, descriptive piece of writing

based on their appearance, powers, personality and overall character.

HERE IS YOUR TASK FOR TODAY

TUESDAY, 23RD JUNE

• Today, we are going to continue to create our new superhero; the newest

member of the Avengers.

• What will they look like?

• What is their personality?

• What is their back story?

• Do they have a sidekick?

• Do they have a base/weapons/vehicle?

LET’S PUT OUR MINDS TOGETHER…

• First, let’s create a superhero for our bubble.

• We will plan this together, then you can go and create your own so you can

see what a superhero requires to be successful!

WEDNESDAY, 24TH JUNE

• Today, we are going to begin planning our story.

• There is a lot to think about so let’s get started…

WHO IS THE VILLAIN?

• What’s their story?

• What do they look like?

• Why are they so evil?

• What are they trying to achieve?

WHERE IS THE SETTING?

• Where will the story take place?

• What other settings will be needed in your story?

HOW ARE WE GOING TO DEFEAT THE VILLAIN?

• Will you have help?

• How will you save the day?

• Will there be a cliff hanger?

THURSDAY, 25TH JUNE

• We are going to write this slowly, so let’s talk about each part of the story

prior to creating our magic…

THE INTRODUCTION…

• How will you introduce your character?

• Who else needs introducing?

• Will your hero start off a normal person who develops a super power?

• Will they be on a mission to begin?

• Will you introduce the villain first?

THE BUILD UP…

• What leads your hero to the villain?

• What characters will they meet along the way?

• What is the main problem of the story?

• What is the villain trying to achieve?

• Do they have help?

FRIDAY, 26TH JUNE

• Let’s finish out story!

THE RESOLUTION…

• How will you save the day and resolve the problem?

• Will there be a battle for power?

THE CONCLUSION…

• How will your story end?

• Will it be a cliff hanger or a happy ever after?
