Stats Of the Artic Wolf
Length: 3-5 feet
Weight: can be up to 175 lbs (females are usually smaller)
Lifespan: 8-16 years
Habitat
Arctic wolves habitats are for the most part cold
and dark and during the summer it gets to be warm but grounds remain frozen.
Live in the Arctic Tundra yearlong, which means that they have adapted to surviving in the cold they have dense fur to keep them warm as well as ears and muzzles that are shorter so they lose less heat.
Cold temps makes getting food difficult due to the prey dying.
What is to become
Climate change may effect the future for
wolves. Scientist have discovered that
global warming will cause ice storms in the
arctic. Obviously decreasing the population
of wolves.
