The portfolio activities are comprised of two parts: an assessment section and a critical thinking section. The assessment section evaluates students in the content area of the chapter—for example, whether they are getting enough sleep, how well their diet matches up with their MyPyramid recommendations—and critical thinking questions that prompt students to analyze their results, considering not only the individual behaviors, but external environmental factors as well.
