Enactive Activities

Enactive activities are experiences that provide direct, personal, hands-on learning opportunities. In other words, enactive learning is learning by doing.

•Build a model of a pyramid

•Practice “wall painting” in a “tomb”

•Create a paper “sarcophagus” with representations of Egypt and/or the student

Iconic experiences are types of learning that use visual aids such as video, photographs, diagrams, or maps.
