Funded Graduate Students

• Each semester students must be:

• Enrolled in the Graduate School (professional students do not qualify)

• Degree-seeking

• In UK payroll with an assignment as a full-time TA, RA, GA (20 hrs. per week), or qualifying institutional fellowship recipient

• Automatic enrollment

• No cost to student

International Students

• Insurance is mandatory for international students on F1, J1, or J2 visas.

• Automatically enrolled, cost is automatically applied to your student tuition bill

• The charge for fall 2015 semester is $823.

• The charge for spring/summer 2016 will be $1,343.

• SHIP Office processes eligibility, the premium is paid by the Graduate School Funding Office (Judy Nave).

• Allow one month for processing
