42 The minutes of the March 1, 2021 meeting were reviewed. Following the review Jeff West 43
made a motion to approve the minutes and Russ Oberlander seconded the motion. The motion 44 passed unanimously. 45 46 47 48 49
Page 2 1 UDOT & Google meets 2 May 3, 2021 3 4 II. Annual Exception Review 5 6 There are 6 annual exceptions to the air space requirement. Four of those exceptions are 7 at the Park City Resort. Two exceptions are at the Snowbird Resort. 8 9 Park City Resort Air Space Exceptions; 10
Crescent: The Alpine Coaster Bridges crosses underneath the Crescent lift. The 11 installation complies with all ANSI clearances. There have not been any issues with the 12 operation of the Crescent lift. 13
Frostwood Gondola: The Miners Club building is located within the air space of the 14 Frostwood Gondola. The building alarm system alerts the bottom operator when it goes 15 off. The installation complies with all ANSI clearances. There have not been any issues 16 with the operation of the Frostwood Gondola. 17
Red Pine Gondola: An summer event tent is set up adjacent to the bottom terminal of the 18 Red Pine Gondola. The tent is set up by resort personnel as specified by the tent 19 supplier. The installation complies with all ANSI clearances. There have not been any 20 issues with the operation of the Red Pine Gondola. 21
Sunrise: A condominium building is located within the air space of the Sunrise lift. The 22 building alarm system alerts the bottom operator when it goes off. The installation 23 complies with all ANSI clearances. There have not been any issues with the operation of 24 the Sunrise lift. 25 26 Following the review of these exceptions Jeff West made a motion to approve these four 27
exceptions and Russ Oberlander seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. 28 29
Snowbird Resort Air Space Exceptions; 30 Chickadee: The footbridge from the Cliff Lodge crosses over the Chickadee lift and one 31
of the line equipment assemblies is suspended from the bottom of the footbridge. The 32 installation complies with all ANSI clearances. There have not been any issues with the 33 operation of the Chickadee lift. 34
Peruvian: The Alpine Coaster Building is adjacent to the bottom terminal of the Peruvian 35 lift. The installation complies with all ANSI clearances. There have not been any issues 36 with the operation of the Peruvian lift. 37 38 Following the review of these exceptions Russ Oberlander made a motion to approve 39
these four exceptions and Robert Miles seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. 40 41
42 43 III. Qualified Engineer Application – Thomas Olson 44 The application of Thomas Olson was reviewed. Thomas Olson was not able to join the 45 meeting today. It was decided to delay the decision until a later meeting when the Committee 46 would have a chance to include Thomas in the conversation. 47 48 49 50 51 52

Subject: Qualified Engineer Application – Thomas Olson
Background: At the May 3rd meeting we decided to delay the remainder of this discussion until Thomas Olson was able to participate in the conversation. Thomas is the engineer who has reviewed the Towpro system for compliance with the ANSI B77.1 standards. manual gantry crane systems of up to 5 ton capacity each. System provided greater

production of composite aircraft wings at Bombardier’s Wing production Facility in Belfast,
Ireland. Design and develop a new AutoClave system for use in the processing of new
composite wings for use on the C-Series Aircraft, Bombardier Aerospace. Manage all phases of
design and development for very large all weather mobile crane system (35 Ton Capacity) used
in the manipulation and precise positioning of the F35 Joint Strike fighter. Responsible for
Mechanical Systems Design, High pressure hydraulic system, onboard compressed air system
and all Engineering Analysis. Manage and oversee the installation and testing of the new F-35
Manipulator at Lockheed Martin’s facility in Cameri, Italy. Manage all phases of design and
development of a new robust 6-Axis positioning system used for the assembly of 737 Aircraft
wings to the fuselage. Responsible for the Design and development of a new 3-Axis Vacuum
Lift Device used in the manipulation of new Aircraft Wings for Gulfstream Aerospace
Corporation. Provided a Root-cause Failure Analysis of an Automated Placement system (AGV
System) used in the manipulation of 737 Aircraft Wings within the Wing Fabrication Area at
Boeing, Renton. As a supervising engineer overseeing many engineers and technicians approve
