Student ID card/certificate of enrolment

• You will receive an email when your UM Card is ready

• It can be picked up at the Information Desk at the Visitors’ Centre (Bonnefantenstraat 2) or is sent to your address in the Netherlands

• From now on, we will use your Maastricht University email account for all correspondence

• Any problems with logging in: please see the ICT Helpdesk at the University Library

• Top up your UM card: Law/Economics/Library

Building 1: Keizer Karelplein 19 (KK19)• The building is a United Nations building:

– secured building– only accessible via reception, on presentation of your UM card– only for teaching purposes, meetings with one of the staff

members and visiting the Student Affairs Office.

• Opening hours: 08:30-17:00• The coffee machine on the ground floor is off-limits• No food or drinks allowed in the Conference room or

Boardroom• No internet connection• No bicycles allowed in court yard!

Building 2: Kapoenstraat 2 (Kap2)

• Room 0.009 and 1.034 used for classes• Room 1.034 available upon request for

meetings/studying

• Wireless connection available at all UM buildings (but not at the Keizer Karelplein 19)

• Own laptop• Computers available at the University Library• Printing/ copying at the University Library• Student Desktop Anywhere
