Home Energy Services (HES) is available to the non-low income residential customers of the sponsoring Program Administrators.

HES is for residential buildings with 1-4 units that are notpart of a multi-family complex.

– Million btu AKA: Mbtu or mmbtu – Electric and fossil fuel treated as equal (site basis)– As estimated by the model (not from billing)

• “Asset-based”– Eliminate occupancy factors– Standard assumptions about thermostat settings,

Summary • Mass Save® is a well established, long running

program with existing systems and contractors• Integrating an EPS into an existing program can be

challenging (training; time to serve; communication)• Data integration of a new system adds complexity• Home MPG leverages significant federal funding to

experiment with several unique delivery features including the EPS, widespread infrared imaging, and bonus incentives designed to encourage deeper retrofits and greater savings per home.
