Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

�� ح�يم الر� ح�من� الر� الله� � م �س� ب

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

وج� &ر& �ب ال ذ(ات� م(اء و(الس�

[85:1] I swear by the mansions of the stars,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

�م(و�ع&ود� ال � (و�م �ي و(ال

[85:2] And the promised day,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

ه&ود1 و(م(ش� اه�د1 و(ش(

[85:3] And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne.

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

&خ�د&ود� األ� ص�ح(اب&) أ �ل( ق&ت

[85:4] Cursed be the makers of the pit,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

�و(ق&ود� ال ذ(ات� �ار� الن

[85:5] Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

Cق&ع&ود �ه(ا (ي ع(ل ه&م� �ذ� إ

[85:6] When they sat by it,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

�ين( �م&ؤ�م�ن �ال ب &ون( (ف�ع(ل ي م(ا ع(ل(ى و(ه&م�Cه&ود ش&

[85:7] And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers.

�ه� �الل ب &وا &ؤ�م�ن ي (ن أ �ال� إ �ه&م� م�ن (ق(م&وا ن و(م(ا�ح(م�يد� ال �ع(ز�يز� ال

[85:8] And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the

Mighty, the Praised,

ض� ر�) و(األ� م(او(ات� الس� م&ل�ك& (ه& ل �ذ�ي ال

Cه�يد ش( ي�ء1 ش( Tل& ك ع(ل(ى �ه& و(الل

[85:9] Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things.

(ات� �م&ؤ�م�ن و(ال �ين( �م&ؤ�م�ن ال &وا (ن ف(ت �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ�م( ه(ن ج( ع(ذ(اب& (ه&م� ف(ل &وا &وب (ت ي (م� ل &م� ث

�ح(ر�يق� ال ع(ذ(اب& (ه&م� و(ل

[85:10] Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do

not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning.

�ح(ات� الص�ال &وا و(ع(م�ل &وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ�ه(ار& ن

) األ� �ه(ا ت (ح� ت م�ن (ج�ر�ي ت Cات� ن ج( (ه&م� ل�ير& (ب �ك ال �ف(و�ز& ال �ك( ذ(ل

[85:11] Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which

rivers flow, that is the great achievement.

Cد�يد (ش( ل Tك( ب ر( (ط�ش( ب �ن� إ

[85:12] Surely the might of your Lord is great.

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

&ع�يد& و(ي �د�ئ& &ب ي ه&و( �ه& �ن إ

[85:13] Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

�و(د&ود& ال �غ(ف&ور& ال و(ه&و(

[85:14] And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

يد& �م(ج� ال �ع(ر�ش� ال ذ&و

[85:15] Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

&ر�يد& ي Tم(ا ل Cف(ع�ال

[85:16] The great doer of what He will.

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

&ود� ن �ج& ال ح(د�يث& (اك( (ت أ ه(ل�

[85:17] Has not there come to you the story of the hosts,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

(م&ود( و(ث ع(و�ن( ف�ر�

[85:18] Of Firon and Thamud?

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

�ذ�يب1 (ك ت ف�ي وا (ف(ر& ك �ذ�ين( ال (ل� ب

[85:19] Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth.

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

Cح�يطjم �ه�م ائ و(ر( م�ن �ه& و(الل

[85:20] And Allah encompasses them on every side.

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

Cيد م�ج� Cآن ق&ر� ه&و( (ل� ب

[85:21] Nay! it is a glorious Quran,

Surah al-Buruj (The Constellations)

م�ح�ف&وظ1 (و�ح1 ل ف�ي

[85:22] In a guarded tablet.
