Meadow Heights Elementary School School Site Council Election Notification

What is School Site Council? The School Site Council is a decision making group of elected people consisting of school staff and parents who work together focusing on a school site plan. The school site plan describes our curriculum and the council sets goals for each school year. Communication is maintained with the district regarding their guidelines, core curriculum, and budget planning. Discussion of the school site plan, the school’s annual programs, updates from other committees working at the school, and most effective use of funds are some of the major topics undertaken during the year. Decisions are made on a consensus basis with voting used as necessary to keep the council moving forward.
