4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NEWSLETTER
Announcements
COUNTY FAIR UPDATE From the Boone County Fair Board:
After intense discussion, it is with great disappointment that we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Boone County 4-H and Utopia Fair due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our events which make us an awarding-winning All Kentucky Fair are not permitted, according to the COVID-19 regulations.
However, the Fair Board has agreed to support the following state qualifying events, which include: the Boone County 4-H Livestock, 4-H Horse, and 4-H Dog shows. Also, the Miss Sweetheart, Miss Teen, and Miss Boone County Fair Pageants will be held to send representatives to the KAFHS state level. Information regarding these events will be posted soon.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, exhibitors, and guests that continually support our fair.
"Fairwell” for now. We hope to see you at the 2021 Boone County 4-H and Utopia Fair.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, CALL THE EXTENSION OFFICE AT 586-6101 AND ASK FOR ONE OF THE AGENTS BELOW.
