Every year, the graduating seniors of the Lake Shore Art Department put together their Senior portfolios for display. These portfolios consist of the students’ best artwork created over the span of their high school careers. Many of these students will pursue careers in art after graduation, while others will keep art as a passion while they follow other pursuits.

We are fortunate at Lake Shore to have such a wonderfully talented and dedicated group of art students. Throughout the past four years, we have been witness to the incredible artwork that they have created and shared with our school community. We are also very fortunate to have a dedicated K-12 art staff who have nurtured the talents of our students throughout the years, as well as an administration and Board of Education who support the Arts Education program in our District.

It is without a doubt that 2020 has been a unique year for graduating seniors. Under normal circumstances, we would be hosting an art opening for the senior art exhibit, students would have their artwork on public display, and we would be personally acknowledging their outstanding accomplishments. However, this year is like no other. Circumstances require us to hold our exhibition virtually.
