WELCOME TO THE GRUMMAN CANOE FAMILYWhether on backyard ponds or backwood runs, countless outdoor adventures have been launched in Grumman Canoes.
Our rich heritage dates back to 1944 and we are honored that our canoes have touched the lives of so many outdoor enthusiasts.
Here’s to the next generation of canoers.
Durable. Reliable. Tough as nails.
Grumman® Canoes are hand-crafted
from a special age-hardened, stretch-
formed aluminum alloy. The aluminum
alloy is substantially stronger than
traditional alloys, giving it the power it needs to perform and last.
Each canoe is hand-riveted with specially-designed T-6 Alumilite rivets for maximum strength along gunnels,
keels and ribs. The stretch forming process permanently shapes the curves designed into the bow, stern and
sides for maximum strength.
For added rigidity and unbeatable strength, Grumman Canoes use die-formed aluminum ribs and thwarts, and
solid aluminum extruded gunnels.
In other words, better parts mean better canoes.

OUR WARRANTY 1. No warranty claims will be processed without prior approval. This is to ensure that manufacturing is alerted of even the
smallest problem and will then be able to take steps to remedy a potential problem trend quickly.
2. Please forward a completed Warranty Authorization Form to Marathon Boat Group to request a warranty claim approval number once you believe a problem is warrantable. If approved, Marathon Boat Group will assign an approval number and return the authorization form. Marathon Boat and the dealer may need to discuss the problem and determine the best approach to solving the problem. Photos may be required to help better understand the situation and to ensure that correct repair parts are shipped.
3. Warranty repair parts that are in stock will be shipped immediately. Out of stock parts will be shipped immediately after becoming available. Parts sent that require a defective part to be returned will be invoiced at net 30 and credited once the parts are returned.
4. Labor rates will be paid at the current Marathon Boat Group labor rate.
5. Again, you will need to submit a Warranty Authorization Form to Marathon Boat Group for approval prior to starting any warranty repair.
6. The approved Warranty Claim Form should be submitted along with your company invoice once the warranty repair is completed. Fax or mail them to Marathon Boat Group, PO Box 549, Marathon, NY 13803.
7. Submitting the Warranty Claim Form is very important since it is the only way that Marathon Boat will be able to process warranty credits or credit warranty returned parts invoices.
8. Please feel free to call anytime if you have questions or comments regarding warranty. We are eager to hear about even the smallest problem or suggestion that you may have.

In addition, the hull and all components installed during manufacture are warranted for a period of five (5) years from the date of original consumer purchase against defects in material and workmanship.
2. What is Not Covered? This warranty does not apply to the finish whether painted or unpainted whether the boat is in or out of water; to deterioration or discoloration by chemical action, to damage caused by electrolysis, or to damage caused using copper based or cuprous oxide paints.

Photographs illustrating damage, if any, should accompany the claim. An inspection may be made, within a reasonable time, by an authorized representative, after receipt of the claim.
