I learned o lot about being on independent adult this year at CIP . I now do my own grocery shopping, cook meals for myself and the others in my apartment and I keep my apartment neat and clean. I hove also mode some strong friendships.

At CIP I like hanging with my friends and watching movies. I hove also done many of the weekend activities. A stand out was lhe trip lo Fen way to see the Red Sox ploy. It was o good lhing that Boston won!

This spring I graduate with on Associoles Degree in Early Childhood Education from BCC. I pion to stay in the Berkshires and find a job with o preschool. This year I lived in the transitional opartmenl which hos prepared me for venturing out on my own.

This year I hove been concentrating on 'rocking up the moth and science credits" with classes at BCC, and that hos kept me busy. In addition I like hanging with my friends, porliculorly Alex. N\Ost recently I went on the CIP trip to Fenwoy Pork. Boston to watch the Red Sox ploy the Nationals.

I feel I hove changed this year, changed in a good way. I hove enjoyed many of the activities; apple picking, lrips to the moll, the trampoline pork and going to the movies. Skiing and Hiking with Holly were particularly fun.

N1y lime at CIP hos been a great experience thol I hove really enjoyed and I hope to return next year. The teachers, staff and students ore very nice and I hove mode many new friends.

CIP hos taught me many things that will help immensely in the future. I have now learned to become independent and do things on ITT/ own. I also enjoy socializing during the weekend activities. I especially love doing the theater classes. as I wont to become o n actor sometime in the future.

When I first came to CIP, I was really shy. With the social skills I hove learned, I hove mode a lot of friends both in and out of CIP. The performing arls have also real/ brought me out of my shell, and hove helped me become more confident and social.

I come to the College Internship Pro9rom to get some skills that will help me to live independently. I hove done that and now I om reedy to move on.

I am proud of my ability to land a job at the Apple Tree Inn. The coreer deportment here at CIP helped me prepare for the job interview, and that gave me a lot of confidence which helped me get the job. vVhen visiting the Inn, a staff person asked my boss about me and ITT/

boss respcnded Julian is Grand".

Al the beginning of this year I started a new job with Berkshire County ARC, that I like. Jon in the career depcrtment helped me with all the steps for getting the job. I enjoy living in lee in my own opcrtment and hanging out with my friend Ryon.

This year at CIP I discovered Simon shores my enthusiasm for hiking. We compleled eight or so strenuous hikes at various locolions around Berkshire County, including Ice Glen, Nit. Tom and 1,111 Everett, many done in the snow. Hiking helps me meet new people and have some fun.

This hos been a good year al CIP. I started a new internship al the Norman Rockwell Museum. At first I did data entry and now I am training to be a tour guide. I have enjoyed participating in theweekend activities, particularly the local ones. I also like shoring my thoughts with my new therapistN1ilton.
