Your Children Must Know…

Their first & last name.

Assigned teacher & classroom number.

AM & PM bus number.

Nametags and dismissal notes are essential during

the first few days of school.

Attendance

Critically important to success.

Call CCS if your child is absent.

Submit a note when your child returns.

Planned absences require Principal approval.

Uniforms

Purchase from Flynn & O’Hara only.

“In uniform” on 1st day of school.

Uniform exceptions require Principal approval.

Resale shop located in the Lower School.

Food Service$2.50 (grades K-6) and $2.75 (grades 7-

12).

Monthly menu calendars.

Payment preferences and credit limitations.

Bus TransportationSchool district will send the bus info.

Typically arrives 1-2 weeks before 1st day.

Changes take about 2 weeks.

Buses run early and late for 1st few weeks.

Arrival Procedures

Bus use is strongly encouraged.CCS staff will assist students.Parent drop-off via car line only…Walking child to classroom… Say quick, “goodbye,” then go!

The more confident you are about separating, the more confident your child

will be when it’s time for you to leave.

Dismissal ProceduresNo dismissal note = regular PM plans. No exceptions.

Dismissal notes must be signed by parent/guardian.

Unable to change procedures via telephone or email.

Parent pickup via car line only.

Car line starts at 3:15pm. Not 3:10pm. Not 3:05pm…

We will get your child to our After-School Care program.

Make sure that your child knows his/her dismissal plans and discuss emergency

plans.

Collegium provides a weekly newsletter. Please read!

Our website is updated regularly.

Please check your child’s backpack on a daily basis.

When family contact information changes, please tell us! You can contact Mrs. Susan Novak to update your contact information. This is critically important, especially during emergency situations.
