Fullerton Marriott at California State University prides itself on creating the most
memorable occasions. We are aware of the prestige and quality you expect from the
Marriott Hotels. Consequently our goal is to guarantee the maximum in professionalism,
service and elegant surroundings for you and your guests. With these goals in mind,
please note the following information.
Amplification: One standing wired microphone is provided free of charge in the ceremony location. Additional microphones are available at an additional cost.
Availability: Daytime events may be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Evening events may be scheduled between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM. Hours are subject to availability. The hotel provides up to 6 hours within the ceremony/reception package from the ceremony start time and 5 hours within the reception only package from the cocktail reception start time.
Cake: Patty’s Cakes will be pleased to prepare your wedding cake and many styles are included in our wedding package. Upgrade options are available at an additional charge through Patty’s Cakes.
Corkage: Corkage fees for wine brought in to the hotel is available at $20 per .750ml bottle. Arrangements to bring outside wine must be made in advance and approved by the hotel.
Decorations: All decorations incorporating candles must meet with the approval of the Fullerton Fire Department. The hotel does not permit the affixing of anything to walls, floors, or ceilings of rooms with nails, staples, tape, or any other substance. The hotel does not permit the use of red or any darker colored rose petals on our ceremony aisles.
Deposits: 25% of your minimum food and beverage revenues guarantee (non-refundable) will be required in order to make the reservation definite. This initial deposit will apply to your future balance. Additional advance deposits will be required and are outlined in your sales agreement. The full, anticipated balance of the event will be due five (5) days prior. Accepted forms of payment are certified check, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card. We are unable to accept personal checks for the final payment.
Food and Beverage Minimum Revenues and Guarantees:Your food and beverage minimum revenue guarantee is determined by your wedding sales representative at the time of booking your event. All food and beverage related charges arranged through our banquet department will apply to your minimum food and beverage revenue minimum. Charges that do not count toward meeting the minimum are facility fees, sales tax, wedding cake upgrades, décor upgrades, media upgrades, labor charges (bartender or attendant), and guest room charges. This will be considered your minimum financial guarantee, not subject to a reduction, for which you will be charged, should less attend. The guarantee is due 5 business days prior to your event. If you do not confirm your attendance, the minimum used for contracting will be used as your guarantee. Guaranteed numbers are not subject to reduction.

Facility Fee and State Sales Tax: A 22% facility fee and current state sales tax will be added to the cost of all food, beverages, audio visual charges, ceremony/reception and reception only fees contained in this portfolio. The 22% facility fee is subject to current state Sales tax (California State Board of Equalization Regulation No. 1603) facility fee and state sales tax are subject to change without notice.
Labor Charges: Additional carvers, station attendants, food or cocktail servers are available at a flat fee of $150.00. Labor fees are subject to current state sales tax.
Linen: The hotel offers white or ivory floor length table linens and select napkin colors are included in the wedding package. Additional fabric and color choices are available for an additional charge.
Marriott Rewarding Events: Earn points for future stays at Marriott Hotels and Resorts or frequent flyer miles with 17 airline partners if you are or become a Marriott Rewards Guest. The Hotel offers three points for each dollar spent on all charges excluding service charge and sales tax. There is a maximum of 60,000 points or 20,000 miles per event and points will be processed approximately 1 week after your event.
Menu Planning: We will make every effort to adjust menus to conform to religious or dietary preferences. No food or beverage, alcoholic or otherwise, shall be brought into the hotel by the patron or attendees from outsidesources without special permission of the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to make a charge for such services. A menu tasting is included in the package for up to 4 guests. The menu tasting will be scheduled at a time that is convenient to both the client and the hotel.
Menu Pricing: All prices contained in this portfolio of services are subject to change without notice.
Parking: Complimentary self-parking is available for your guests.
Sleeping Rooms: For wedding and/or receptions happening at the hotel, a courtesy block of (10) ten sleeping rooms may be available for your guests at a reduced room rate with no minimum night stay. The unreserved rooms will be released 4 weeks prior to the wedding date and there is no obligation to reserve a minimum number of rooms in the room block. Rates are based upon current availability and pricing models in effect.
Vendors: Client must notify hotel of selected vendors a minimum 45 days in advance of event in order for Hotel to be assured that those Vendors are informed of all rules and regulations pertinent to any service or products to be used at the Hotel. Vendors must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance that lists the following entity as an additional insured:• Sky Harbor Fullerton LLC, DBA Fullerton Marriott
Welcome Bags: Welcome bags may be delivered to each guest upon check in at the front desk. All bags must be fully assembled and should be delivered prior to the arrival of your first guest to the hotel. Hotel is not responsible for lost or misplaced welcome bags.
