To-Do Things

Before Wedding Day

Kriztine Cobarrubias

Bridal Shower

A bridal shower is an event that takes place before a couple’s wedding and is intended to "shower" them with

gifts.

It is the modern day replacement of the bridal dowry given by the bride’s family in the past.

Food and drinks are served, and there are usually party

games and prizes as well.

Pamper yourself

Have a facial: Remove the deep-seated dirt and impurities on your face,

then restore and rejuvenate your skin’s

health.

Pamper your hands and feet:  Don’t forget to have a manicure and pedicure to make your hands more

presentable.

Get a massage: It will help relax the body and release any toxins in the muscle

tissues.

Read through your vows

Your vows or wedding speech has to be spot-on for the big day so give it the once-over one last time. Have a sassy trial run in front of the mirror.

This should hopefully banish any last-minute nerves and gives you the

chance to make any tweaks.

Prepare your outfit

Try your wedding dress and heels: It is much better to know that your wedding dress and fits you perfectly, or else you will make last-minute adjustments that will ruin

the event.

Organize accessories: Pack all your accessories in one bag. Have everything in one place so you're not

scrambling to find an earring or a hairpin the morning of. This includes your day-of clutch. (Jewelry, shoes,

undergarments, and hair accessories)

Allot time to get ready

You want to be able to relax and have a good time with your bridesmaids, not stress over whether you’ll finish in time.

Rushing means stress.

Arrange your car

If you have multiple venues, plan how you will travel from the

ceremony location to the reception location. Some couples may choose

to rent a limousine or ride in a classic car. It is also a nice idea to

personalize your car with the bride’s favorite roses.

Prepare a wedding day survival kit

A typical one includes a first aid kit, tampons, a Tide To Go stain remover pen, and anything else that might fix a minor emergency. This could help you big-time!

Write a love note to your groom

Give the best man a note to slip to your groom right before the

ceremony. The note can either be sexy or sweet. It will get your man even more excited to meet you at

the end of the aisle!

Plan your Honeymoon

The honeymoon is an important part of the wedding experience, and a much-needed escape after months of exciting, yet exhausting, wedding

planning.

Begin early and share the planning. To ensure that you both enjoy the honeymoon, make all the decisions together to make your honeymoon

romantic, memorable, and stress-free.

Thank everyone (Parents, family, and guests)

Your wedding would be impossible without the help of your family and friends. Do not forget to give them thanks and be grateful for the help they gave you all through out

to make the special event in your life possible.
