CHECK THE SAFETY ISSUES SPECIFIC TO YOUR DESTINATION.

No city is 100% safe. Before starting to pack, it’s best to take a look at the specific safety issues of the city you’re visiting.

USE YOUR COMMON SENSE.

Many of the safety incidents that tourists faced during their travels could have been avoided. Be discreet! Try to blend in!

SCAN ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS.

Passports and IDs are probably the most important part of your luggage. Scan and email them to yourself in case you lose them or they get stolen.

DON’T KEEP ALL YOUR MONEY IN ONE PLACE.Always have money in a few backup places. A second wallet, backpack or laptop bag. You can also keep some in the hotel safe.

DON’T TRAVEL LESS TRAVELLED ROADS.Visit the touristic places! Stick to what you have read in your travel guide. Leave the adventure for someone who has more experience.

ALWAYS LOOK BACK.

Look back and double check if you didn’t forget something. Looking back over your shoulder is beneficial for your state of mind and budget, when traveling.

GET THAT TRAVEL INSURANCE.In the unlikely case you will be suffering an accident or need to return back home on a short notice, these few bucks will be the best money you ever spent.

DON’T BE A HERO.

If you happen to be involved in a robbery, it’s best to give away your possessions and hold on to your life.

GET YOUR VACCINES.

Some countries won’t allow you on their territory without proof that you’re vaccinated.

TRUST NO ONE!

Keep an eye on locals who are conveniently in the right place, at the right time.
