• John Adams was the 2nd president

and the 1st Vice President.• Benjamin Franklin was the inventor of the lightning

rod, bifocals, and the Franklin Stove • Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd President, the

2nd Vice President, and the writer of the Declaration of Independence.

Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island were the New England colonies.

New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware were the Middle Atlantic colonies.

Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, and Georgia were the Southern colonies

The New England Colonies had whaling, fishing, and logging. The Middle Colonies had agriculture, logging, and shipbuilding. The Southern Colonies had farming and slavery

Blacksmiths made things using steel and iron. Gunsmiths made guns. Silversmiths made things using silver.
