■ HETAL SHUKLAHe is an artist who is deeply asso-ciated with the classicAmbassador cars. He has beenworking on them since past 10years and comes with a novelconcept every year. He is alsohappy about the fact thatAmbassadors are no more beingsold and officially they comeunder the category ‘vintage.’ His

creativity is inspired from thefamous character Damien Curstwho used to kill people by cuttingthem into two pieces. His last twoartworks were Acres ofDiamonds and Make Me Rich.

■ RAJENDRA CHAVAN &MUKESH MISTRYThe duo has been talking about the global issue of water through acamel. A camel can save 15 litres ofwater in just 30 minutes and pre-serve it for three months. The

piece of art symbolises that if ananimal like camel can save somuch water and use it only whenin need, humans too can do a lot forthe generations to come.

■ ASWAD SHEIKHIn India, even today, a large num-ber of people rely on the handcart for their livelihood. Throughthe Cart of Hope, the artist por-trays the cart as something thatgives people wings and a lot ofpositivity. What may seem like

trash to one person can be atreasure for the other. AswadSheikh bid goodbye to his lavishlifestyle in Dubai and came toIndia only for his love for art.

Educatingour society to encourage acceptance is a noble cause. OmCreation does this wonderfullywhich is symbolised by the beautiful sculpture of Mudra.● Artfully Twisted PaperSculptures by Khushboo AshishShah revolve around the message‘Save the Tigers’. It has beenformed by folding book pages.● The Techno Man by VarshaPandit from Jamnabai NarseeSchool beautifully describeshuman greed of advancement to ahigher level at all the aspects be itphysical, emotional, spiritual or

financial which has always result-ed in fast-paced life and making lifemore mechanical. As the youth hasbeen accepting this change rapidly,this sculpture reminds us to makea healthy balance of technology,tradition and nature.● Ek Hota Kau by Sumeet SanjayPatil symbolises the Hindu beliefwhich that a crow is synonymouswith Salvation (Mukti) to the deadand the crow represents the problems of the city from which weare eager to get Mukti.● Cube of Connection by ShitalMehta which emphasises on thefact that with every innovation,there are new limitations onhuman possibility. The cube ofconnection beautifully bringstogether the stories of experien-tial discovery as they unearth adeeper understanding on how toengage with technology in ameaningful way.

They are as smart as apes, and the evolution of their larger brains is surprisingly similar to humans.● Dolphins are very social, living in groups that hunt and even play together. Large pods of dolphins can have 1,000 members or more.● Dolphins sleep by resting one side of the brain at a time. This allows them to continue rising to the surface for air and to keep an eye open to watch out for predators.
