Industry Overview• Merchants, Institutions, Utilities, Telco's,

Governments,…virtually every organization is in the process of eliminating paper based systems and “going digital.” High on their agenda are plans to eliminate paper based payments, that is, mailed invoices and paper checks.

• Businesses and government have three basic payment options: Credit cards, debit cards or electronic checks.

• Electronic checks eliminate the high transactions costs and interchange costs imposed by the card networks. It is the preferred payment method for B2B, and in many cases is mandated by various governments and institutions.

• Other factors driving the conversion to electronic checks are new point-of-sale applications which convert paper checks to electronic checks in the client’s back office, eliminating the cumbersome process of physically depositing checks at the bank.

• Growth in electronic checks is also benefiting from the increasing use of “Check 21”eligible transactions.

• And in the near future, mobile banking will deploy to customers a wireless or contactless interface enabling the use of a cell phone as a POS device.

Who we are

• AmeriNet, LLC is a leading electronic payment processor with a focus on electronic payments known as Electronic Checks or eChecks. Electronic checks digitally move funds from one checking account to another. eCheck avoid the expense of the credit or debit card networks.

• AmeriNet pioneered the use of eChecks for telephone customer-not-present applications in 1994 and continues to lead the industry. Some of the nations largest payment gateways, banks, financial institutions and enterprises now outsource their electronic payment processing to AmeriNet.

• Through its extended architecture and comprehensive product suite, AmeriNet offers its clients real-time access to a variety of resources including originating banks, positive and negative files and consumer ID validation, in addition to its own extensive internal capabilities.

• AmeriNet also offers flexible terms, detailed and customized reporting, and a host of integration, processing, reporting and customer service options designed to fit our clients’ needs.

What we do

• AmeriNet offers a suite of alternative payment processing services and a variety of products that provide for easy integration with a broad range of customizable features.

• AmeriNet provides full service on the front end, with a comprehensive menu of due diligence, compliance, and risk management options.

• First we integrate the client with a variety of vendors, including banks, gateways, portals, and fulfillment centers. AmeriNet is the hub in the center that controls the flow of transactions between the client, vendors and banks.

• AmeriNet takes the digital payment transaction from the client’s customer and then we translate, repair or reject it, process it, track it, and settle the funds.

• We provide the reporting, accounting and reconciliation to the merchant, and notification to the fulfillment center that the order is paid and ready for shipment.

• Finally, we handle exception management via our integrated “trouble ticket” service.

How we make money

• AmeriNet’s revenue model is built on the concept of recurring fees, which create ongoing revenue over the lifetime of the client relationship.

• Because AmeriNet service as the central hub or “switch” which controls transactions flowing between the client, vendors, gateways and banks, AmeriNet manages the integration between the parties and becomes the critical link which keeps that processes flowing.

• This initial integration can be slow and expensive. However, when complete, it creates for competitors a significant barrier to entry. Replicating this extensive integration involving many entities makes it very difficult and expensive for a competitor to displace AmeriNet.

• Keep It Simple

For an electronic payment option to be effective, it must be simple to use. AmeriNet is continuously enhancing our systems to make electronic payments easier for our Bank, Gateway and Enterprise clients.

• Get Entrenched Early

Because of the complex integration between many vendors, it is best to be first. It is easier to defend an entrenched position than to displace an entrenched vendor.

• Control Critical Components

AmeriNet provides the technical interface, network, systems and processing services that tie together the client, the client’s bank, gateways, portals and the client’s customers.

• Reach Everyone

About 40% of U.S. consumers do not use credit cards either because they prefer not to, are at their credit limit, or simply don't have one. And business often do not want to pay for b2b transaction by credit card. Nearly everyone has a bank account. Clients can extend their reach by adding the electronic check option.

• Design a Lean Business Model

AmeriNet’s lean business model has three basic elements:
