You can save a lot of time and increase your efficiency by using keyboard shortcuts.
A good way to introduce yourself to keyboard shortcuts is to use the ALT key to the left of the spacebar on your keyboard in any Microsoft Office application.

When you press the ALT key on your keyboard notice how letters and numbers appear at the top of the screen.
You can add commonly used tasks to the Quick Access Toolbar and then apply them to your work quickly by using ALT keyboard shortcuts.

In this example, if I want to send my document as an e-mail attachment, I press ALT first and then press the number 7. My document will then be attached to an e-mail automatically.
